Dallas police are asking the public to help identify a man they say was seen leaving a location where a homicide victim was found.

Officers responded about noon on Nov. 7 to a disturbance call in the 11400 block of Garland Road and found 42-year-old Jose Vasquez injured and unconscious, police said. He was taken to the hospital where he died days later.

Police have said his death is being investigated as a homicide.

Now, police are sharing a picture of a man saying he was seen leaving the scene and they want to identify him. Police did not say if he was a suspect in the homicide.

The investigation is ongoing.
